Bike Ride Books is the publishing vehicle for the author, Mike Carden; his books include the historical fiction trilogy, Alfred of Wessex, and three humorous retellings of cycling misadventures: The Full English, A Bit Scott-ish and A Lake District Grand Tour. His latest project is different again, a murder mystery set in the English Lake District, At The End Of The Lake.
Mike's books have been widely loved, with - for example - The Full English described as 'warm, well observed, unpretentious and very funny' by the Adventure Travel Magazine, and Alfred of Wessex readers regularly asking for number four in the trilogy.
